AOTM Artists in Residence VII: desultor

stoked to be part of AOTM Artists in Residence VII with Ivona Tau and Mariah. this is not just another square getting slid into a drop calendar. AOTM put us into weekly sessions, curatorial development, and a september exhibition path — basically a clean room where the work still had to keep its teeth.

for me the program makes sense because the work is already a weird lunch tray: acrylic paint, analog capture, pixel damage, little doomed characters, chain receipts, collector rituals, and jokes that probably got left in the fryer too long. `paraboliholic`, `re-runs of the state`, `props`, `lfg.gif`, and `DEATH PUNK 207` all sit in that same heat. sweet, sad, a little funny, probably bad for you in the way most worthwhile things are.
