What This Site Collects
The public archive is designed to collect as little visitor data as practical. It does not need an account to browse public pages, and it does not intentionally use advertising trackers, third-party analytics pixels, or behavior profiles.
Email Opt In
If you join the email list, the site stores the submitted email address, signup source, timestamp, referrer host, and a limited user agent locally so the studio can send archive or release updates and diagnose abuse. Signup requests are rate-limited and include a bot trap. Email data is stored locally by desultor.art and can be exported for studio operations.
First-Party Analytics
The site may record minimal first-party events such as page views, searches, signup submissions, and outbound source clicks. These records are stored locally, use a hashed network identifier instead of a raw IP address, trim referrers to the host, and respect browser do-not-track/global privacy controls when sent by the browser. They are used for site maintenance, archive quality, and abuse prevention, not advertising.
Server Logs
Hosting infrastructure may create ordinary server logs such as IP address, request path, user agent, timestamp, and error information. These logs are used for security, debugging, uptime, and abuse prevention.
Archive Records
The archive stores public information about artworks, exhibitions, press, marketplaces, source links, chain records, and public social references. These records are used to document desultor's work and professional history. Third-party names and materials are referenced for identification, evidence, and context; the site does not claim ownership of those third-party products or publications.
Admin Access
Administrative areas are for authorized maintainers. Admin activity may be stored in the CMS or server logs so the archive can be maintained, corrected, and protected.
External Links
The archive links to third-party sites, marketplaces, explorers, social platforms, galleries, publications, and media hosts. Visiting those sites is governed by their own privacy practices.
Corrections
If a public record is inaccurate, misattributed, or exposes information that should not be included in this archive, it should be reviewed against the source evidence and corrected with care.
